Hootsuite, a social media management platform, adds video entertainment app TikTok to its suite of social media management capabilities. Marketers can now use Hootsuite's tools to manage, execute, and optimize TikTok content along with their other social media platforms.

"We've watched as video content has evolved into a powerful tool that successful brands used to socialize with the rest of the world, and we've identified the challenges our customers face when creating this type of content. I am overjoyed that Hootsuite can now play a more direct role in assisting businesses in becoming fearless on this one-of-a-kind, rapidly evolving platform," said Lower, Hootsuite's chief marketing officer.

Hootsuite also released educational resources to help customers walk through the TikTok integration, so they can innovate. Including a culture guide, a newsletter, workshops, webinars, and a blog content series.

Our Point of View:

TikTok is the sixth most used social media platform in the world. The success of TikTok’s video-focused approach has pushed the competition to focus on video. TikTok videos are driving organic traffic to YouTube. Brands ignore TikTok at their own peril.

Hootsuite’s integration with TikTok just made it easier for business users manage it alongside their other social media. Marketers can schedule and auto-publish TikTok posts and interact with comments. Monitor engagement with detailed analytics. Set up approval workflows and content calendars. Ensure TikTok videos are compliant, and on brand. All in one place.

Sending timely responses on social media is a big deal for influencing purchase decisions. With TikTok inside Hootsuite now, the process of social media conversations got easier and quicker.

Hootsuite’s analytics capabilities allow for insights on audience demographic and preferences, and tracking post performance. This will result in more effective social media strategies and paid campaigns. And hopefully, better customer experiences.
